15-minute break for Sunday lunch. :D

(It's amazing how well informed some in-play traders are!).

1325 had to be stopped = VOID race

Several jockies appeared to not know what the yellow flag meant and seemed to carry on racing for a bit and jump the next fence when they should not have done so.

Would be surprised if there was no bans dished out.

Likewise, a lot of people playing inplay didn't know what the flag meant as Richard Johnson was quick to pull up but people thought he was pulling out of the race and laid him up to 18.0 when had been trading at ~1.30 before the flag.

Likewise, Muratello was backed in to odds on thinking Keep Rolling had pulled up.
Only just realized that was so far my only red book of the afternoon. :D

That nag in the last at Taunton can't keep coming in in such a large fielded handicap can it?. In my innocence on nags I would say it is likely to drift out from its current 2.44 with 28 mins to go.

I am an innocent on the nags but in time I want it to be another string to my bow.

Yup, up & down during the session but up and that’s the most important thing 📈

I laid it just above 2.5 on the basis that it's a longer way up than down.

Interesting that it's surging back in as the clock hit 5 mins out. This probably a noteworthy race in my education.

or rather market, the race itself is irrelevant to me.

I was too busy scalping the second favourite to notice the reversal - got out at 2.46 but made up for it on the second fav.

Did you manage to get out for a profit?

Yes that screenshot I posted was my final tally.

My username won the Racing Post Trophy in 1987 under Willie Carson so I'm not completely ignorant about horse racing. ;) the sheer quantity of horse races is the attraction.

A bit 'iffy' for me today I'm afraid.

Happy New Year to all on here. Take care, keep safe. See you next year. :D

No but my aim is to win between £0.25p & £1.00 on one or more handicap races every day if I can find time and in time Malcolm Gladwell's 10,00 hour rule will bring it's own rewards. I'm a firm believer in that.

Fair punt on Urtheonethatiwant at Warwick, owners back it each time the trainer said...even though massive outsider each of it other runs :D
