Certainly off for its life today despite being turned over and having a hard ride in the end, despite what the trainer said.

and in time Malcolm Gladwell's 10,00 hour rule will bring it's own rewards. I'm a firm believer in that.
Yes, a lot of truth in that I think, but at the same time be careful you dont get caught up in the "doing the same things over and over and expecting different results" scenario

No but my aim is to win between £0.25p & £1.00 on one or more handicap races every day if I can find time and in time Malcolm Gladwell's 10,00 hour rule will bring it's own rewards. I'm a firm believer in that.
Even though it's not his rule, he never claimed it was, and the caveats that go along with it make it effectively useless. Keep believing though.

To extend what dt888 said, there's some interesting articles about Effective Practice out there which can reduce that time, but if your time is ineffective, you might as well double it.

If I dedicate much time to something, anything I become better at it........that is my life experience. I've had a good day and no haughty negativist can alter that.

some can be profitable after a few hours of teaching, others will take hundreds to thousands of hours. there are many variables at play.

as long as you're progressing, all power to you

One of the few occasions when you take your eye off the ball and come out on top :)

A nice way to end the year.

Got sidetracked by one of my daughter's wanting something done and had unclosed bets in the market, thankfully one was a back bet on the winner.
