I will say something positive about Saturday because I had a couple of good hours doing something I have never done before.

For various reasons I found myself using the free BetAngel software on Betdaq, and over the course of only 6 or 7 races I turned my paltry 41GBP into 48GBP by simply exploiting empty spaces in the ladder. It was really only on Gold Cup that I traded more conventionally for a pound or so greened up.

Some may smirk at this but by my reckoning that is a 17% ROI and I won't complain about that.

Betdaq can work very well on the bigger races.

I'd just like to thank Lingfield for running five minutes late to deliberately clash with a decent race at Ascot. Thanks guys, much appreciated.

Still can't understand why we have ten minute run in to Lingers but only 5 to all the others. Nutty scheduling.

Yup good day here and very enjoyable racing to boot. P.N. has some stable of horses this year - only downer was seeing AP limp off.
