Hey forum,

is there a good way to run several strategies at once without them interfering with each other?
Like I want to run a bookmaking automation but it react to bets placed from an automation that attempts to do swing trading?
Or i want to bet manually on a market that still has an automation running in the background, but it will react to my manual bets which i dont want it to
Any way how to avoid this? Anyone knows if betfair will allow 2 or more accounts linked to each other so one could be used for automation and one for manual betting? thank you

If you can write your own software, Betfair API let’s you tag each order you send into the market.

I’m currently testing 5 variations of a strategy on each horse racing market.

Just use Excel then.

Will have to load up multiple instances of Bet Angel but probably you're easiest option.

Is there a reason this can't be included in the regular automation though guardian? I have the same issue and i suspect many others do as well.

If you have Strategy A, B and C, you're going to need to open up 3 instances of Excel and attach a separate workbook to each version of the programme.

If for example you went for the 13:00 race tomorrow you would go to Guardian in each of the 3 open windows and load the 13:00 race, you can then have 3 different strategies all looking at the same race but 3 different spreadsheets are running three different strategies.

If it's your Excel skills you are a little unsure on, just watch a beginner's playlist on YouTube or a little educational series on Udemy. After a couple of hours you should have a basic grasp on some of the easy functions which is all you need, the rest is down to your imagination. Worth the investment in yourself.
