Can a stake be dependent on the result of another event/rule either in the same race or another race?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I have looked around a bit and not seen an answer to this (or not understood it!)

What I'd like to know is if you can set a stake value based on a previous set of results. for e.g., if you bet £1 on the favourite and it loses, betangel automatically doubles your bet on the favourite in the next race.

Is this sort of contextual automation possible? If so, how? Thanks! :D

The short answer is no

Bet Angel doesn't support the use of any type of loss recovery systems, and I'd strongly advise against using one.

There's no shortage of threads on here with replies and comments from experienced users also advising against there use, in among them you'll find plenty that 'went ahead and tried it anyway manually' - but none of them has posted back to say its worked for them, with most never posting back ever in any topic.

Thanks for your reply Dallas,

I completely understand, I was just interested to know if bets could be contextual on other results and wanted to have a play with this. Loss recovery systems can only be successful long term if you have an edge anyway, and especially with a 5% commission to consider I can see how using it in that way would be a bad idea, I was just keen to try some nested strategies.

Anyway, thanks.
