I have used other software before I swopped to BetAngel. I find it very disappointed that 1 useful function I cannot find in BetAngel (but in other software).

That is the "Offset If Fill" function.

In B'Angel, the "Offset Only Initial Fill" function will not set the offset counter-bet if the initial bet hasn't matched when placed but matched subsequently.

On the contrary, the "Force Offset" function place the same bets instantly. The offset bet may got matched long before or even the original bet may never been matched.

I've tried to figure out how to do this "Offset If Fill" in Excel, but the partly fill situation give me a headache.

Actually, I think the B'Angel team can easily add this function by just modifying the conditions in the "Offset Only Initial Fill" function.

Any ideas or directions? Thank you.

I had the free 15 day trial a while back

I must admit, I can see traders finding this particular function quite useful

I think maybe there is some confusion here? Maybe we are confused by the feature request?

When you use fill or kill the bet will stay in the system until the elapsed fill or kill time. At that point Bet Angel offsets whatever has been filled on your initial order. So say you put in a fill or kill order for 30seconds for £100 and only £2 matched. After thirty seconds that £2 will be offset. That is how the fill or kill orders work on Bet Angel.

If you are looking for a different implementation to that, I am sure it would be possible to put it in the software. We just haven't had many requests for anything different.

BA, Perhaps I'm not referring to the same function as the original poster!

If you place a £100 bet with offsetting of 2 ticks, it will place the offset immediately any bet is matched, even if just a partial match

That wouldn't be hard to do. It would just require a tweak and an update of the menu UI.

If B'Angel can add this "Offset If Fill" feature, then u r really my X'mas angel.

And this is the very reason that I think B'Angel worth such a yearly subscription fee (instead of a one time payment): the team's very good support service and the willingness to improve the sofware.

Thank you. ;)

Can you detail exactly how you want it to act, so we can be sure we fully understand the request.

I've read & tried yr above advice to use the command:

"Back Offset:5 Fill_Kill:YES KILL_DELAY:60"

in Excel and it works as if my requested "Offset If Fill" command. Thank you, my problem solved.

My misunderstanding is the meaning of "Fill or Kill". I think the offset bet will also be killed even the initial bet is matched (fully or partly).

But it may still be good if B'Angel can add such an "Offset If Fill" offsetting method option to the Global Settings of the UI, so that the users can click once at the target odd on the Odd Ladder and wait (indefinitely or within a specified time limit) for it to be matched and then automatically fire the pre-set offset counter-bet to make a profit.

The present B'Angel's "Offset If Initially Filled" offsetting method option doesn't fire the offset counter-bet if the initial bet isn't matched instantly when placed, even the "Place Fill or Kill Bets" option is checked.

Thank you for considering my request. ;)

This already exists, we were the first people to introduce fill or kill over five years ago. If you let us know what version you are using, we can point it out to you and how to use it.
