Group 2 and 3 at Warwick Farm

My apologies if incorrect there. I'm not quite sure what you mean by scoring up behind the mobile but that must have been what happened to me once upon a time.
Still. Don't waste your time with them.
Also, open up https://www.racenet.com.au/racing-form-guide and take a look at the prize money on offer for the races and compare it with how the markets trade to begin developing a feel for what to expect in a market. As a general rule of thumb higher prize $ = more liquidity but don't discount the usefulness of market-making → hedge in the more deserted markets.

Good luck.
Surprised it is pretty quiet in here as thought more UK based traders would have been giving it a go tonight with all the UK racing off.
Got off to a poor start only breaking even in the first hour but have picked up since then so hopefully can build on it as the racing builds to the big race.
Only 1 week to the return of the queen....
Agree - there was not enough liquidity (for me) in the G1 or the predecessor Caulfield race. I guess it is still early days in the year and I overestimated where things would end up. I always try to stay under 2% of the matched volume, but sometimes I get carried away - and my own experience (choose what lesson you take from this) is when I make up more than say 4% of matched volume things can get really ugly (for me).
