Hi All,
Looking for some advice...
If you refer to the image attached..

You could argue that the money available at points A and F 'could' be spoof money...and that the money available at C and D were genuine.

So bearing this in mind, so if you were trying to determine a more accurate representation of the WOM for each the back and lay, you could apply a "weighting" to each price, for example :

A&F = Outer = 20%
B&E = Mid = 30%
C&D = Inner = 50%

Rather than 33% for each..

My question is: What three percentage figures would you consider for Outer; Mid and Inner?

Would be interested in your thoughts..
Thanks
Peter

I tend to look at WOM over the longer term to form a picture. I ignore any amounts that look like they are being spoofed. If I see something that is being manipulated I will often switch runners if it persists as I will not be able to work out where I am in the queue.

By the longer term, what period are you referring to?

BTW, do you think there would be any value in including wom on the Guardian graphs, so you can see at a glance how it changed over the previous (say) 5 minutes?

I have my WOM set at 45-45-10

I used to be influenced too much by money on the outside. After a while I came to the conclusion that a lot of it was spoof, so I altered my WOM & it's always worked well for me
