Couldn't be bothered to read the thread from the beginning but I think Bangladesh and India have been suggested, which would include Shaun's Goa.
This has been interesting, from many levels.
My geography is weak .. I had to rely on the guaranteed 2 mark 'The ground is undulating' to pass
most tests, and had a pemanently lost sense of direction, till I accidendently found it one day in Mozambique.
Looking at all the answers, its occurs to me how lucky I have been to have visited maybe 50% of the answers.
The brute force route got it.
