I didnt see the tweet but I've read the blog post, dont understand why it has to degenerate into petty name calling.

Interesting though that for people who don't care what others think they seem to spend a lot of time in this forum under assumed identities :?: Better watch what I say, don't want anyone paying me a visit in the middle of the night! :D

I did notice the link to mugs site about taking Saturdays off
The irony is that they tried to convince a very well-known trader to join them to raise the level and he declined, because it was on a Saturday.

The criticism mainly stemmed from the exaggerated claims made prior to the announcement. There was hype about it changing the trading landscape drastically, raising expectations for something groundbreaking like PC cancellation or a new exchange launch. When the actual event turned out to be a meeting of like-minded individuals, it felt anticlimactic, leaving many feeling misled. Some involved seemed unaware beforehand, employing outdated marketing tactics, creating confusion. instaup

Despite this, the event itself promises to foster innovative ideas, backed by reputable names like Betfair. The individuals involved have a track record of success. Mark, in particular, appears genuine and offers insight into his involvement through a worthwhile blog post for those curious. Simplifying the announcement without overstating it might have garnered a more positive reception.
