Nice and easy trade in the 16:30 when that 7K holding the price was matched at 5.1

Yes, tbh at first I thought it was spoof money but it seemed happy to be matched then once it got through it the price never looked back. Even when the horse got a free lead the market hated it and was happy to lay it.

Y, I thought the same, even after it was taken I did wonder if they got caught out - I did notice another +£2k appear on the back side shortly after as if they were trying to pause it while they got out

It sat there a good while and they had plenty of time to remove their back. Usually when they start getting taken they soon remove it but once it seemed happy to be taken, I and I assume many others piled in laying it as it soon got eaten through.

There has been someone sticking up large amounts like that for a while now but they soon remove them if they get matched so I was fairly confident in taking it on once others tested it.

It was an odd move really as it seemed the market hated it but yet there was at least one big backer of it not that the market seemed to care.

I was surprised it drifted more despite getting the running style it clearly wanted. I tried to nick a bit more out of the market when it got the lead but had to bail when it became clear no one wanted it inrunning either.

Betting shop style racing on RTV at the moment, one race straight into the next. Still not used to Taunton being on RTV and keep switching to SSR for it.

Not often we see such a busy crossover into evening racing this time of year

The Irish need to ditch RTV, for the involvement I had in some races I thought it was pointless them showing race replays again at Musselburgh rather that going quickly to Clonmel, shambles really. Not sure if they did that all day?

I've quite enjoyed today's racing which was surprising as I hadn't really expected anything from today.

It's been a very quiet week in here this week with Shaun and Derek cutting back on their postings.

Matt Chapman - but not as you have heard him before:

Much better than I could ever do!
I guess seahorse is still collecting his winnings, the anticipation is killing me.

Forgot all about the millions he won. He's either too busy dealing with his solicitor or he's jetted off somewhere nice and forgotten about us. ;)
