Hi,

Im new to using excel for more than simply accounting figures. I would like to create a sheet similar to the 'charting' sheet that is already pre-loaded however I would like more information to passed to it.

i.e. instead of 'market size' I would like to pass the back lay volumes for each price to create different outputs to the graph sheet.

My question is what is the name for the process where each price is 'recorded' temporarily and then moved one position along once a new piece of information is supplied.

I am happy to go and look into this myself once I know where to look however right now it is all black box which i cannot see into.

All help appreciated.

Hi there...you can do what you're trying to do in the data tab of the charting sheet. All of the column C values in the data sheet move 1 column to the left every second. You can put whatever formula you want in column C in data or insert as many rows as you want. Not sure if this addresses your question but I hope this is helpful.

Hi,
I'm fairly new to BA, just started looking at the spreadsheets, and I think I'm trying to do much the same thing as the OP, except I just want to record the time before the off for each set of data (i.e. get a time stamp in each column).
It's easy enough to link to the Bet Angel tab and get the time in column C in the data tab, but it doesn't seem to get recorded (i.e. it just stays in column C, unlike the rest of the data which shifts to the right).
Any way to do this, or any easier way to automatically record price changes at specific times?

Thanks in advance
