I'm really on the fence about brexit.
But its disturbing that Tommy Robinson is now getting media coverage.
Do we have to endure this for the sake of free speech?

I don’t think any of them have had a job since leaving school.

But you can always get cheap nicked Booze, Tobacco, M&S steaks, Phones, Laptops, TVs and the odd firearm if you have the dosh.

Plus later in the evening some sexual diseases if that floats your boat for a couple of quid.

I took a position on a no deal Brexit happening on 29/30 March. I read in the papers that several eminent lawyers are questioning the legality of the Prime Minister’s action in applying for the Article 50 extension. If this was not legal it implies that we did leave the EU without a deal yesterday but hardly anyone noticed.

Does anyone know what would happen to my bet if the Supreme Court ruled that her action was not legal and we did in fact leave the EU without a deal on the previously scheduled date?

I'v not heard those reports myself but could you imagine if that happened, and we really left that way!
Whether intentionally or unintentionally on the part of May and the members of the government responsible for carrying it out.

The BBC interviewed a barrister this morning and his expert opinion was that it was not legal. He also went on to say that he thought that Judges would also agree.

If true / happens then that would be like something out of “Back To The Future” and cause mayhem (forgive the pun) on both sides of the channel.

However, wouldn’t EU lawyers have already looked into this ?

It is possible that EU lawyers and Attorney General did advise but were ignored. The Government were extremely reluctant to disclose his advice on the backstop presumably because they intended to ignore that.

Of course, I think you can be pretty confident everyone from the Attorney General down would be on top of the legalities on our side, and more than a few lawyers on their side too.

Remember we're the incompetent ones in this process, the EU manganged to get 27 countries to agree within months, but we can't find agreement between half a dozen parties after 2yrs. Why anyone wants the uk parliament in charge of anything is beyond me, if they think UK politics has ever done anything for the underclasses who are now waving their flags, then they haven't been taking notice for the last 100yrs.
