£6 on the first G1, even less on then next. Let's hope the G3 is another scalping bonanza.

I am finding the session a bit of a grind and not the most profitable. After the last few weeks it was always going to be a bit of a come down but it does feel quiet to me.

Next two weeks will be back to the good stuff hopefully with 4 x G1 each Saturday before it starts to go quiet until the Autumn action.

Derek I'm not familiar with your stake sizing etc. so not sure how good/poor £6 is but your tone suggests you'd expect more normally

£6 is pretty dreadful for a G1 at Rosehill. I have to take tomorrow afternoon off to do other things so good luck tomorrow, the start of the flat is always an exciting time.

Gnight D, I don't make anything consistently from UK/IRE markets these days so hopefully the return of flat will turn things around.

Hope it has been a good night for you. I have had a good last hour or so which has really helped with the total. Made a few mistakes during the session, including not realising I had an open position until halfway through the race which cost me a good bit as the horse typically was out of contention.

I am sad to see the end of the jumps i have really found it good this season, suspect I will struggle with getting similar totals from the flat.

It is a bit of a drawn out transition and Aintree this week to look forward to. Hopefully will be better than Cheltenham.
