Caulfield R6 was relatively straight forward

Maybe just me but not found the session as good as I was hoping it would be. Found the last at Randwick disappointing on the fill rate.

I just turned up for the back end of the card.

I've done okay but well below average for a Saturday morning. I've found the markets weaker and less stable than usual.

Given my perfect start I have done really poorly overall tonight

Better luck this afternoon. I'm skipping the last couple of markets.

This would explain a mismatch in my pnl, what happened?

Cant seem to find the stewards report but heard that many of the runners were 'disadvantaged at the start'

Great article, amazes me how they still let some of you trade turnover charge markets ;)

Cheers Naffman, I've often wondered how much it actually costs them.

Thanks for sharing. Presumably they've considered the $ reduction in other mkts from forcing punters elsewhere for NSW ones.

Even though the article is fairly biased, the "fight for the punter" cause is hard to not get behind.

Bit rich of Betfair whining about charges when they happily charge their own customers up to 60%. Just a few cherry picked races to highlight their aims, you can be pretty sure Betfair are a net winner from NSW otherwise they'd drop them asap.
