Hello you All!!
Can somebody suggest me a webpage where I can watch football with the least time of delay? This would help us all who like in-play trading...

The answer would be appreciated. It doesn't matter if it is not out of charge.
Can't use sky sports since I don't live in the UK or Ireland.

Betfair video is pretty good, but the fastest feed available is good old analogue radio.

Due to my location in South America all the football videos are restricted. Thank you anyway.
Analog radio? Ok I'll figure out what I can do to catch up.

Thank you

No, it's not restricted.
However I see a few seconds of delay.

I see that the betfair market is suspended, but the football player has not kicked the ball yet. You know what i mean?

Its unfortunate that alot of processes have to occur before it reaches you (or anyone).

I'm sure some streams are deliberately delayed but even if they are not you have to factor in transmission and encoding time from the actual event location to the point of entry to the web, then the time delay the various stream servers may add depending on their load, and finally the time its takes to get from the the stream server to your flash player or whatever to decode the stream.

A lot of the streams can originate as a web cam pointed at someones tv or from a satellite receiver card so now you have to factor in the transmission and decoding time of the satellite signal path aswell as the time taken to re-encode the stream and upload it.

Hi
The best delay must be to be at the game?!
I was watching someone V Braga last week and a massive lay bet came in on the draw (about 10 ticks above the current price) and swept up everything below it and left about £3K on the backside, before the market was suspended when the goal went in..
It was well orchestrated, whoever did surely must have been at the game??

I find that online radio works pretty well without delay, but if you like outside of the UK you might need some software that tells the server that you are in the UK.

I have IP tv at home and during the world cup the lag was terrible - at least 7 seconds. Luckily I have friends with SKY tv.

I just signed up to At the Races for 5.95GBP/mont online and am very pleasantly surprised by how "real time" it actually is.

My friend in Sweden got ATR on-line streaming service at the same time as me some months back. He had 5+ seconds of delay compared to me. This is much much more than you could attribute to transmission distance. I believe he asked ATR if they were deliberately delaying feeds going abroad. He never got a response. However, he did have to pay 3 times as much for the subscription on the basis he didn't live in the UK. Needless to say he promptly cancelled it.

Thank you guys! That's what I wanted to know.
Maybe I'll try to cheat the server pretending I'm in the UK, so that I can watch really "real-time" events.

Strange that there are so many traders on the forum yet noone knows anyone who does the "courtsiding" at football or tennis?

Yet it seems like it definitely happens as just watching the markets when a goal comes will show you!

I know what happened. That game had a 5 seconds delay to place bets. However if goal scored it would be about 6 seconds before the market goes suspended. So, just have a local radio or something like it.
