Man Utd 6/1 to finish in top 4 looks good value
I'd say, it's a god-awful price, and influenced by United's fan base more than reality.

Bar weird circumstances, you'd realistically expect United to need to win the remaining three matches. That should be a 20-25% chance of happening, if the prices in the market for the next two round are anywhere near correct.

You'd then, to have value, need to believe that there's about a two-thirds chance of two out of the three teams above dropping enough points, ie. Spurs getting max 2 points, Arsenal getting max 6 points, and/or Chelsea getting a max of 5 points from the last two (or United catching up on goal dif). That's imho nearer a 30-40% chance than the 60-70% you're needing.

My Huddersfield friends have no optimism. I see Lovren on the teamsheet and I wilt.

Anyone seen any communication from Betfair regarding cutting back the number of markets, they offer on matches?

I could see a point in cutting some of the many, many obscure variants, they have for most matches, with little to no liquidity. Right now though, they're only offering match odds and over/under 2.5 goals, or even only match odds, for an increasing number of matches, even in somewhat big leagues like the MLS. Despite being on offer as in-play.

Check out the early match in Russia tomorrow.

Away team:

Draw:

Spoof money gone wrong? Bot run nutters? Fixed match?

I'm staying well clear, unless I get reliable info.

Pinnacle has closed action on it, and other Asian bookies has gone in line with prices, but many bookies aren't alive to it yet. Good arb spot, if anyone, unlike me, isn't limited with bookies....

I'm guessing "The Bomber". Same thing happened with Girona v Sevilla and SPAL v Genoa.

Burnley are sitting in, which could be a mistake. Thankfully (for me as a Liverpool bod) City can't bring on De Bruyne to win it.

tbh 1.25 fr City to win the Prem doesn't look too bad. Liverpool have the stress of the Champions League. I know its a cliche but I think the travel and the emotional drain for Liverpool will be too much.

Surely the ref should have blown if he felt there was an injury of merit? You can't stop unless the ref instructs you too? I'm guessing the villa player wasn't seriously injured?
