I imagine this is easy but haven't done much automation yet.

I am looking to back all runners priced between 10 and 30 just before the off when the race has 7-12 runners and the favourite has odds over 3.00.

Thanks for any help.

here you go - based on the parameters you mention, this rule initially scans the market to see that there are between 7 and 12 runners and that the odds of the fave >3. thereafter, it places a £2 back bet on any runners hwere the odds are between 10 and 30.

there are lots of ways to improve this (such as divvying out the stake by book% etc), but for now, this is the simplest representation...

Thanks Jimibt, that's great, saved me messing it up, will run it in demo mode today. Thanks again

Worked great, one more question, is there any way to add a rule that says race does not qualify if there is more than 1 non runner.

glad you got it working as expected. at present, there's no way in standard automation to identify non-runners. you'd need to use BA->Excel interop for that, but that's a whole new ball game...

Sorry to be a pain, one final question, instead of betting on all runners between 10 and 30 odds, I want to specify which 4 or 5 runners to check. I know I can set this up with a servant on each race say 5 minutes before the off, can I use a servant for all races for the day. I.E in the morning assign this automation file to all races that may trigger a bet and then assign which runners within each race I want it to check at the off for 10-30 odds.

I tried changing the ANY Selection to servant context selection, but as far as I know this only works for the active market, I cannot set it up for all the markets for the day.

As someone still learning the deeper abilities of Automation would it not be possible to compare the Count Number of Runners taken earlier in the day with a fresh count just before the bets are due to be placed?

Thanks Firlansfarm, will have a look.

Still looking at how I can tell the automation which horses I want it to consider, I know I can use Nominated selection in Guardian but that only gives selection 1 and selection 2, I want to nominate up to 5 horses, can I add custom columns to Guardian for this as you can in the grid interface.
