I'm seeing something odd in Guardian in practice mode;
I've been trying with slight success to take a tick pre (horse) race on selections that seem to be steaming. This is running live using £2 stakes.
The basics are; spot a steamer, back at best market price with a 1 tick offset, close all trades near race start time and then green (hopefully) up.
I tried the same file in practice mode running £50 stakes and despite having a "close trade on any selection" set to fire up to 10 times from 1 min to 10 seconds from event start and then having "Green all selections" set to fire twice in the remaining time neither fire at all according to the log and automation screens and its sometimes letting a £50 back bet (I presume the lay bets aren't getting matched) go in play!
This has not happened at all to the live (£2) version and it's been run on a couple of hundred races.
Anyone seen similar?

From what you have put there should be no reason why its not working the same in PM as in LM.
Is the stake the only thing you have changed between the two?
When running in PM do you still have each race open on a main screen or do you have it confined to running just in guardian in the background?

Im also having issues getting my automation file to trigger. Im in Practice mode and i copied an automation file and adjusted to suit my trading style but it wont fire. Can betfair put any blocks on this as i cant see any reason for it not to fire.
Its in guardian and the automation is selected
its also open in the main screen so i can watch it work ( when it happens lol )
This is not my first automation file and the others have triggered just fine.
Any help or advice would be great.
files - simple back to lay, greening, fixed market order. Its nothing too complicated

Bets don't go to Betfair in practice mode so there is no way for them to block them.
If your data is restricted this may be causing it not to trigger. If you open a market on the ladder screen can you see the full market depth or is there just the best 3 prices showing?
If you can see the full market depth the next likely cause would be your guardian settings, to check this put just one market in Guardian apply the rule to it then watch it on your main trading screen and see if that works
