All the various delegates will deny it, but we have an extremely poisonous media in Britain, and this surely turned many key people against us

We should have had a chick in a Leopard skin instead of Prince William

Qatar 2022 - Wtf!

A country with absolutely no footballing infrastructure at all. What's the point at giving a World Cup to a country who will never be able to sustain these stadiums after the cup is over.

2026 will probably go to the Faroes

FIFA appear to want to promote football first and not worry about mature markets. I can't see it coming to the UK for generations unless that changes. How did Germany get it a few years ago?

Agreed

It probably means Scotland have a better chance of hosting it than England!

I believe Germany's bid was about showing the world a truly united Germany

I'm pleased for Russia, they have a vibrant domestic league and the World Cup will be great for them. But Qatar? I'm actually quite angry about that because it does back up the belief FIFA are corrupt

According to the BBC the plan is to dismantle 8 Stadiums after the tournament and reconstruct them in third World countires.

You could probably fit the entire population of Qatar in 9 decent sized stadiums.
What a joke FIFA are.
I can hardly wait for games played at walking pace in 50 degree heat....

3 hours later & I'm still turning the air blue about Qatar

How can they win 11 votes and a great sporting nation like Australia pick up 1?

I'm hoping the one good thing about this, is worldwide pressure on FIFA to change their voting system & have more transparency in general

Qatar 2022
If you carry alcohol with you, you go to jail
If you are gay, you go to jail
If you are bisex, you go to jail
If you hired an escort, you go to jail
If you behave like an Essex girl, you go to jail
My question is: do you guys think England will boycott the 2022 world cup?
