Race rating
How can i learn by looking at the form to know what race is strong and which one is not. When i listen to timeform radio usually guys are saying "he won in a strong race last week" or something and this race should be an easy one for him. Even its a class 3 race and OR(Official ratings) are similar.

When such terms ar used for lowly class races you will quite often find that the placegetters from such a race in the past have gone on to perform well in higher class races. There are direct form lines through one race of lowly class to another of a higher class with good results. The lowly class race has come to be termed 'strong' as the form to come out of the race has stood up well. (Hope have not confused you!)

PS: IMO , Best Advice = Don't look at form. Don't listen to the radio. Don't read the tipsters latest mail. Look only at the wagering pools to judge the strength of a race.

Hi Lafaso
I bet the impression that you're trying to learn to read form to find value bets.
My advice would be: don't.
You're up against handicappers who've spent years learning everything there is to know about horse racing, and who have contacts in horse yards. You won't outsmart them. Therefore, your best bet if you want to profit from horses is to trade, not to bet.
Sorry to be so blunt, but if you try to beat the bookies by form analysis, you'll lose money until you give up!
