Okay, I changed the original rule, so if the 4 ticks in my favour did not happen, 2 minutes before the off the order was cancelled, yes, that worked!!!
Then 90 seconds before the off the rule puts in the order to put a back bet on the same horse at £10, a totally different horse crops up.
In the original back selection 1 I chose Current Guardian nominated selection 1, if I choose it by name, then I would have to save the rule under a different name for every race......
There must be an easier way?
FFS What now!!
I answered this earlier this morning on another thread

Hi Henry - to avoid having an overly low SNR, a few things i'd check before sharing any WIP rules:
1. Map out the SV's/Signal names in a flow chart -explain their purpose
2. Similarly, map out the individual rule lines and describe what signals they use etc, as well as which selections are being targetted
3. When testing, switch on all logging options (this is quite heavy weight in production, but very useful in testing phase)
4. Compare expected vs actual outcomes, including signal values etc.
5. Version your changes, so you can skip back if you inadvertantly break something
In my experience, it's far more productive to have a very firm grasp of what's going on at these levels, rather than having fixes suggested by 3rd parties as this can sometimes just muddy up the water.
hopefully this comes across as positive critique
