There's just the little matter of the Premier Lge on Sunday now

How an early Brighton goal would set that on fire!

Well, Spurs fans checking in, feeling as a bunch of you lads felt yesterday. Lost for words and voice gone from singing, when I wasn't screaming (at goals or Trippier being inept, take your pick).

Best of luck to you Liverpool guys a few weeks from now. Hope it's epic whatever happens.

Taking a step back, what hits me - apart from the number of comebacks this season, culminating in these two - is the two managers getting there and the players who helped them get there.

Klopp and Poch are the two best managers in football and it's not even close. Zidane and Pep can stick it. Zidane's three CL's in a row and Pep's trophies plus the football he's created does deserve credit. Lots of it, but it's not anywhere near what Klopp and Poch has achieved, not just now by final, but over these last years, taking those two clubs on such upward trends. Two managers who leaves their hearts on their sleaves, who demand their players earns the manager's trust, but then emphatically trusts those players back, who trusts young players and English players. What better advertisement for football than those two going head to head!

Much as it's been great to see Messi and Ronaldo going toe to toe for GOAT, there's something wonderful about two TEAMS getting there in the end by gritting their teeth and digging in when it mattered most. Examplified by unsung heroes like Origi, Shaqiri, Wijnaldum, Lucas, Llorente, and Sissoko stepping up and playing pivotal roles. Love it, just love it :P

I really admire that spirit and achievment by any Team and a Manager and Supporters to win a European Cup.
Celtic were first British team to achieve that.
Come ON ,liverpool, Walk on :D

Other stat prob unbeatable

What a remarkable thing for English football that would be should it happen, with those teams involved finishing 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th in last years PL and currently sitting in 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th this year

A very grey and wet day here in Dublin :(

A week in Benidorm with a Saturday excursion to Madrid in early June is looking very tempting right now 8-)

If I ever win the lottery I'd tour the great (possibly every) football stadiums of the world. If you get there, have a beer (or your chosen tipple) for me.

I priced it up just out of curiosity, flights from Dublin & accom for under €700 plus €100 for a round trip by train to Madrid so €800 for a weeks holiday is pretty good when you compare it to the 2k + being quoted for flights and 2 nights in Madrid. Even time for a couple of days recovery by the pool after we win the Champions League! :D

I've got a few stadiums on my to do list, definitely have to get to the Camp Nou before Messi retires and the San Siro before the Milanese clubs move home

Chelsea and Arsenal. It does look great for both. Unless we see an incredible reversal. I'm UK first so i hope both go through.
