Morning to all.
Just a quick question about liquidity over a game of football.
Lets say overall a match has taken a total of £5000 matched ten minutes before kick off, however, I want to get involved in the O/U 1.5 market if the score is 0-0 at half time. Ten minutes before kick off the O/U 1.5 market has only matched a monkeys worth.
The first question is do I trust the overall market liquidity 10 mins prior to KO or do I put in a condition of £x matched on the O/U1.5 being £matched, how much would you guys suggest needs to be the minimum to trigger the volume/matched/liquidity condition?
Many thanks in advance.
Question about Liquidity in markets.
Hi Jimmy,
I think it depends on your strategy and your stakes. If you struggle to enter or exit the markets you should definitely pick matches with higher volumes.
For my trading strategies in the match odds market I generally don't trade markets with pre match volumes below €10,000. Markets below this volume often don't go in-play as well.
