Never seen anything like this. It was getting backed into oblivion with huge sums of cash - then 4.2 > 7.6!

A couple of decent moves to end the afternoon.

Gave back the days profits and more in just 2 markets. Have such a tough time keeping losses tight and it's driving me crazy.

Advice when you're wounded isn't always welcome but I never used to enjoy the 5-6pm slot and tended to switch to min stake. Winners have won and going home, losers are spent up and going home, all you're left with is the mad, bad and sad. Plus evening meetings haven't got going yet. It's a good time for a tea break as you're past your peak focus too. Unlucky tho 8, we've all been there. There's 10,000 races a year, treble that with the aus racing, so don't let 2 annoy you to much, in the big picture they're nothing.

Another day's learning in, you know that way when your learning you kinda want to know how your fairing up to things in comparison with other newbies?
today after a mad mistake ie trading the wrong selection by a simple click of the mouse sent the piggi bank into meltdown lol fun and games.
I found myself placing way back on the lead up to the next few markets waiting for the drop working the line and grabbing anything green.

Saturday evening cards are typically terrible.

What comforts me when I've had a bad few days is that I've been there before and always bounce back. Even after a losing week, which is pretty disastrous, you'll probably find you're paying PC the following week.

I must admit though, whilst Shaun's advice is pretty solid, I find it hard after a stupid mistake not to trade the next race even if it's just to prove to myself that I haven't lost my head and won't repeat my mistakes.

Ireland, Sundays and low-grade racing can be quite a lethal cocktail. :)

Why do I warn traders not to get close to the edge of a cliff.....only to jump off it myself?
