Evening all.

I’ve been looking at the dutching options on the Betfair website and realised quite quickly that you obviously can’t bet say £10 as the spread of results means that your stakes would be less than the minimum £2 bet.

Is it possible in Bet Angel to carry out Dutch bets where the stakes can be less than £2?

Yes, you can use stakes of any size with Bet Angel. If dutching just make sure you don't include any selections who's back price is 1000.0

I was wondering about this myself as I found that when I tested certain strategies using a book % based on dutching £10 across 4 selections, sometimes one of the runners may be backed for less than £2. Bet Angel allows the stake to be placed but won't this infringe Betfair minimum stake rules?

No, its always been possible to use sub <£2 stakes with BA for as long as I can remember
What happens is it places a £2 back bet at highest odds (1000.0) then cancels the excess and moves the remainder down to the price requested.
That's why if you use <£2 in-play the delay is twice as long as its effectively to 2 orders (one at 1000.0 then another to reprice it).

In the case of the OP that's also why I also said don't include any selections that are 1000 otherwise, the £2 will be matched instantly before it can be repriced and have the excess amount taken away
