Offset bet automation question

Hi guys.

I have a question when using automation for 'offset with greening' bets.

Suppose I have offered £10 and only £3 of the offer is taken. Does the automation place an offset bet for the £3 or the whole £10 or neither? If it places the offset bet for the £3 and then the remaining £7 is taken does it then offset this additional £7?

Hi it depends on the 'batch' setting when you create the offset rule. It's normally set to offset in '1' batch this means the whole of your stake of £10 in this case has to be matched otherwise the offset bet is not placed. If you prefer you could change the offset batch to say '10', in this case if £3 of your £10 was matched then that £3 would be offset.

Sorry I forgot to explain, in the above example if you set the offset batch to '10' then your stake in this case £10 would be offset in 10 x £1 batches so in this case if £3 was matched then £3 would be offset.

As I understand it would create an offset for each of the batches. So in our example if only £3 of our £10 was matched you would have 3 offset bets in the market. If the other 7 was subsequently matched then you would have another 7 offset bets.
