Sorry to see John McCririck has died.
I met him 30 years ago, when he came to open a new Ladbrokes shop in Southampton. He was tremendously entertaining - he was supposed to be there to talk to punters, but he was far more interested in the bowl of custard creams and our cashier Karen

That is sad news, I remember last seeing him on BBBOTS last year show a significant weight lossLeTiss wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2019 11:58 amSorry to see John McCririck has died.

Compilation of him losing his rag on course... https://youtu.be/UXAK-2TQ_bAMcCririck’s well-documented misogyny was probably all part of his act. “The most important thing about [women] is the size of their breasts,” he liked to say. He called his wife, Jenny, “The Booby” (“a silly South American bird that cannot fly but squawks a lot”), adding: “Her job is the chancellor of the exchequer. Drives me around, does the cleaning, cooks. I never go in the kitchen. A man shouldn’t. Never make a woman a cup of tea or buy a bunch of flowers. And never ask her if she wants to go to the cinema or the theatre. She will only complain. Take her to the dogs.”
I'll only be checking in for the Sandown and Haydock markets for manual trading but have IR automation monitoring them all
Given it's the 'Coral' Eclipse, this is terrible: -

Can't happen now as he lost in the first but the SP only applied to his last two rides neither of which were the Coral Eclipse.Euler wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 2:02 pmGiven it's the 'Coral' Eclipse, this is terrible: -

Also I think it would have been great and not terrible as had it happened the bookies would be doing all they could to force down the SP.
Coral Eclipse day though innit - poor form from Coral but I expect no lessPDC wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 2:21 pmCan't happen now as he lost in the first but the SP only applied to his last two rides neither of which were the Coral Eclipse.Euler wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 2:02 pmGiven it's the 'Coral' Eclipse, this is terrible: -
