Who continues to bet on bookies on 20-1 odds when you have on the exchange 48 SP odds?
What does the BF eachway price equate to? What you are showing only compares the win price.

I don't know, but I'm sure it's a lot better also for eachway price on betfair :D

Half decent session today. Hoping the July meeting yields a few results during the week.

Newmkt has been decent for me but tennis was a wipeout, hoping for something from this evening

That's fairly typical for 20/1s. The bulk of a bookie's turnover is on the favourites and they only need to try to be competitive with the shorter priced horses. There isn't much to gain offering 33/1 when other bookies are offering 25/1 and layers (as opposed to traders) who offer the big prices backers are used to on the exchange for outsiders probably lose most, if not all of their profits when the outsider comes in.

That has put me off the last race at Bath and last 2 Kempton....I'll go to the supermarket instead.
Given that you're still using small stakes on horse racing, have you thought about taking a look at US racing?

You can get some great swings in the US and you might fair much better to the same stakes.
That is why they are unsuitable I am a scalper not a swinger ;)
Fairly easy to get a high strike rate scalping those markets. I've gone off them recently because of the long gaps between races but I believe the Saturday eve cards are pretty active.

All these south western racecourses have dreadfully weak markets Chepstow, Bath, Ffos Las I find. I will relish the £1.60 I'm getting from the 8.40 a horrible market.

Oh my! a loose horse has unseated another runner and interfered in the race after that too.

What was the BA 'Risk-o-meter' showing for that race?

Possibly one of the biggest drifts I've ever seen.
