The Board of 888 Holdings plc notes the speculation in the weekend press and the Company can confirm that it is in the early stages of discussions in respect of a possible transaction involving Ladbrokes.

I'm expecting similar things over the next couple of years - smaller companies with ambition being attacked and eaten by bigger boys
