I am dusting off the trading pc over the next few months. My word there has been a liquidity decline since we were all prevalent around 5 years ago. The gulf between betfair and betdaq appears to be exactly the same, except they are both very very thin.

Or have I just missed something and everyone is on another exchange?!?!

Hi everyone!

Welcome back

Recent years have generally seen a decline in volume across most sports except for Cricket which has soared

Hello stranger, good to see you again.

Today probably isn't the best example as the cards are very spread out and not a usual day today as it were. I think you quit in 2011 due to PC? I can have a look at the data and tell you the exact numbers across those dates.

it was more of a general observation. I didn;t mean you to start digging through data :D

Yes I got sucked back into the cold world of the office initially for 3 months and then all of a sudden we are what...8 years on??!! Wow I think I probably eeked it out for a couple of years so maybe 2013 when I hung up my gaming mouse!

I was going to dip my toe more recently but life threw a bit a spanner in the works and we had son last year who is now 15 months. Now I have a little more time on my hands I am looking at the evening and weekends markets but this time more for recreational trading.

I'm on holiday next week which appears to be good timing. I always loved goodwood and we had some friends that got married there 2 years ago
