Hi everyone
A quick question from a relative newcomer on excel integration. Is it correct to assume that when a market switches and I have linked and binded excel correctly the excel sheet should have all of its contents cleared automatically ready for bets to be triggered and placed on the new market?
I want to leave excel and bet angel to work on the UK and Ire racing markets during the day/evening uninterupted. I have managed to get almost everything working the way I want it but only problem is status cells in particular don't appear to be clearing when the market switches to the new market?
I have 6 worksheets open so have six "live" races at a time linked to my worksheets and auto bind and clear these no problems, I appreciate I could just add enough worksheets to cover the entire days racing and bind these but seems excessive for what should (hopefully) be something that happens automatically?
Apologies as I note from a search of the forum that related questions pop up a lot. I am just stuggling to know whether a) the integration functionality in the provided excel sheet should actually clear the cells as I hope or b) whether I need to develop a work-around (hope not!).
Thanks everyone

The area where prices and volume appear will stay as the latest value on your last race, nothing will disappear automatically. If you change from race 1 to race 2 however then all of the values in this same area will automatically change.
For example. Race 1 is a 11 horse race. Race 2 is a 7 horse race. Once race 1 has finished ALL values from all 11 runners will clear and be replaced by the new 7 horses.
Sometimes, depending what you are doing, you may find some other cells might not clear automatically. If at any stage you find this to be happening, I suggest you search "VBA .clearcontents" in Google and use this upon every new market appearing to make sure you start each race fresh.
