But to happen at post time and be that stupid to use your full stake and just keep pushing it up doesn't scream being cleverrik wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:04 ambut how to know if its value betting against these guys, should be a reason for them to bet that big, maybe they have insider information, or could be a winning punter that just looking to get a lot on, or just someone with a lot of money...TipTopTrader wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 5:37 amDid you see the 10k lay getting pushed up on Paperboy in race 3 at Pakenham, he got a fair bit of it matched at a higher price.

didnt watch the market to be fair, if hes taking stupid odds probably not a smart punter but could still be a connection knowing something not well with the horse
your having long term success going against these guys pushing the price out with big amounts?: i notice it happen more frequently in greyhounds than horse racing but not sure if to go against it

I was refering to the price on the big difter Exotic Ruby, the graph that you posted. I checked the sp again on the Aussie corps and Palmer bet had it starting at 4.8, and top price was 8.
Not sure about BA but they vanish on my trading software (until the race is off) but they are listed on the Betfair site as 'take SP' bets.
