You really need to let beginners know about charges. I ad £120 in my Betfair account. I made a bot that seemed to be making a profit on almost every race. I let it run for a day to gather data. I made about £2 as I was staking 10p, The next day I received a bill from Betfair for £84 as I had exceeded their 1000 bets per hour. I had no idea this was an issue. Please take head I am at a loss and cannot continue.

It's always worth skimming through them before using any exchange (you don't have to read it from start to finish).
In the mean time I'd suggest you search this forum about the transaction charge to see how others have dealt with it. I don't want to get your hopes up but it might be possible to contact Betfair and persuade them to waive the charge on the understanding that you'll adjust your usage of the exchange. Best of luck.

If this is the first time you've been hit by transaction charges if you contact the Betfair API team using the link below and inform them you were unaware of the limits as a goodwill gesture they will usually refund the first set of charges
