Today's Horse Racing
You'll find it if you do a search but as you said, the opening post was a question and the topic quickly moved on to horse welfare, so it would make sense to start a new thread with the aim of reaching 100 posts and 200 viewings by Christmas.

Another good example in the 1530 of the market no longer reacting to horses going down to the start badly like it used too. Suwaan was reluctant to go to the start and had to be led down. Market didn't seem to give two hoots though and the price didn't drift. The horse then ran much as its attitude suggested it would and it didn't want to go through with its effort when it came to win the race.
The market doesn't in general seem to care anymore about horses playing up on the way to the start. Only explanation I can think of is there are much fewer manual traders who are watching the pictures and thus reacting to what they are seeing.
Peter did a video last year about these types of trades but the market hasn't this season seemed to react like it used to. Or maybe it is just me not reading the market correctly

Interesting view point, perhaps that is all it is. I thought in this instance it was a good sign of it being unwilling and thought it would drift. It was showing it wasn't in a very willing mindset which given its previous running was a big red mark against it to me.
Seems like I read more into it than the market in general, even if I was proven right with it not being very willing at all when in with a winning chance.
I will keep you points in mind going forward.
I went to a riding school for a little while to try and understand a bit more about how horses acted. They are flighty beast, especially sprinters, but sometimes they are just messing around but on other occasions can be a bit frightened by something.
So on a windy day when the stalls are rattling and flags are waving about all over the place, you may find they are really jumped and may be a right handful. But on a calm day when the sun is shining they may just be stubborn for the hell of it.
