What about the trainers scratching because of a track down grade. The one that really gets me is Sandown race 5 Jumbo Ozaki, runs 3rd on a heavy track, was on the slow part of the track.

Now all the money has to go the only danger in race 5 which is number 6 Killavally. I'm expecting him to settle in the top 3 maybe if to lead, and should be too strong for them late.

As soon as he decided to pull out of the speed battle I traded out quick smart.

Had a shocker today :? ..its like my brain reset and I forgot everything about trading horses...either that or AI is spying on my screen :D This after having one of my best days on tennis too . Wednesdays have gone crackers on Aussie horse markets. I walked away and cooked a chicken pasta dinner for the fam :) to help me cogitate but am thinking after nearly 3 years manual and many (5+ on and off) years before that on automation..it is getting to time to know when to foldem :? . I can see edges in tennis sometimes..but the trading of horses truly has eluded the old grey matter. It's like the prices know when I am exposed and move against me right away..too fast to recover from..every single time.I haven't had one single significant profitable day..loads of breakeven and loads of bad losing. Anyway..just some thoughts. I think with the limited markets in Oz..unless something happens in Hong Kong..she's singing .You bods that have cracked it truly amaze me.
Edit: Off to have a beer with the cat :ugeek:

Vega Magic is resuming at Caufield on Saturday, Race 6 no 4. I watched his jump out a few weeks ago, and he looks back in the form where he should have won the Everest if not for a poor ride from a wide barrier in 2017.

I want to put my trading bank on, and if he loses just tell myself it was a Betfair outage and it wasn't my fault I overstaked.

I could then post on the betfair site down/ crashed forum, and blame it on streaming being unstable.

349 aus/uk/ie horse and uk dog markets to go, there's a loooong session of trading ahead.
You can afford to be really selective, and get a proper sleep in too.
£3 from just 1/10th of the events is a solid £100. It's not setting any records but I feel you need a few positive days to pep you up.
Save the heroics, keep it simple. Better to end the day knowing you could have done more than doing too much and screwing it.

:) That's a lot of advice from someone who doesn't do it, but you get the general message.

I think My Pendant will be hard to beat in the next at Caufield, will be back in the field so not a back to lay, and storming home.

Thanks, I not a fan of backing back markers, but the wind factor and knowing your better off to have cover and running on made it a solid bet.
