Hi guys
New to trading and bet angel software. I have been trying it out for 2 weeks or so now and enjoying some low stakes trading.
Anyway, I have made a simple scalping rule in guardian but it will only kill the bet on the backing side. Have I got the settings wrong? ( see attached picture)
Thanks in advance guys.

That only has a lay bet rule and green-up rule and the lay bet has a fill/kill for 10 secs
But the fill/kill only applies to the bet it's attached to not all unmatched bets in the market at the time, unless you've unticked it from the lay bet rule?.
Edit, no that condition only stops it from triggering until there has been 2 or more seconds since either the back or lay bet (assuming the fill/kill is still enabled on the lay bet) was in the market

so i re installed your file and crossed checked it with "your rule" in my bot. (sorry I dont know the terms im supposed to use.
And its the same apart from the time is 10 minutes instead of 7 minutes.
Just to clarify, all ive done is installed your rule and added the scalping part and the "fixed order" to it.
I will attach it here if it makes things easier to explain.
again Thank you for your help.

Thanks, the rules you've added all look fine.
When you say the lay bet isn't being killed though are you sure it's not the offset lay bet from your back bet rule?
The original lay bet still has the fill/kill enabled so should always be killing it if unmatched after 10 secs

Thanks for taking a look Dallas.
Yes it is the lay bet from the back bet that isn't getting killed.
Because I'm pretty new to trading, I'm not sure if this is something I need to happen if the back bet has been killed. I think in an ideal world I would like it not to lay if the back had been killed. But I'm not sure if thats possible to add into the rules.
originally I had 2 desperate rules, 1 for the back and one for the lay but i noticed it was putting 2 back orders and 2 lay orders in at the same time. So I deleted 1 rule and made the 1 that was left fill or kill after 10 seconds.
So I'm not great at explaining myself as I'm very new to the trading scene.

The lay bet would only get placed if the back bet was matched, if the back bet is killed then no back is placed.
and the fill/kill is only applicable to the initial bet, so if the back bet is matched and the lay bet gets placed the lay won't be killed, it will remain until matched or cancelled

Thanks Dallas
While I was at work today the penny dropped, which you said in an earlier post.
I need to add a separate rule for the lay i think
