Hi,
This is my first post to the Forum, so please go easy on me if I'm doing something dumb!

I have a fairly successful scalping automation script running on football markets, but I occassionally get hit by a problem which results in the following log message...

08/09/2019 20:31:21: [G_Auto] : WARNING: Matched Bet information was not refreshed during the fill or kill processing which may lead to calculation problems. Check refresh rates to ensure frequent updates. (Ref: 177898500714)
08/09/2019 20:31:21: [G_Auto] : Unmatched bet (Ref:177898500714) kill results unknown.

I have a pretty good Internet connection to a decent PC which is doing nothing else.
Is there some setting in Bet Angel that I should check?

Hi,

I found offset bets unreliable with 30% failing on a wired connection. So now I have separate triggers for placing the offset and stop.

Same issue was happening on my home and work internet.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice, it's kind of good to know that it's not just me.
I'll have a go at separating the bets - probably a good opportunity to make process rather more context sensitive.

Hi,

As you can see from my screenshot i have split it down.

BTL Scalping = 6 separate triggers
LTB Scalping = 6 separate triggers

Cheers,

What fill/kill time are you using?

The minimum should be 0.5secs, anything less than that could cause issues due to the time it takes to send and retrieve information from Betfair's servers.

I've run automation on tens of thousands of markets over the years and not had any issues with any aspects including fill/kill when using a min 0.5sec or above

I've been using a 30 second fill/kill delay on my offset bets.
Would it help if I enabled Exchange Streaming, is there much of an overhead with streaming diagnostics logging turned on?

As you can tell, I've not looked at this aspect of Bet Angel in any detail :)
