I might regret it, but I have layed Wayupinthesky at 4.5 in race 2 Flemington. First time in Vic and first time down the straight.
just had changed to that race right after off, there was a non runner that hadnt been removed, when placing bets in running i will an eye on the overround to decide if to back or lay a runner in running, usually its good trying to get a good price to back right after start because market prices not adjusted properly to non runner and most cases lay off closer to the finish as ovveround will be higher than should be in this case 150% with non runner only taking about 30%, this due to cross matching deactived due to no runner

I bet you were all over this one Derek.
Slightly strange cos it was 4.9/5.0 rather than 5.0/5.1 which would seem more normal on a UK race

Are you mainly betting in-running?rik wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2019 4:07 amjust had changed to that race right after off, there was a non runner that hadnt been removed, when placing bets in running i will an eye on the overround to decide if to back or lay a runner in running, usually its good trying to get a good price to back right after start because market prices not adjusted properly to non runner and most cases lay off closer to the finish as ovveround will be higher than should be in this case 150% with non runner only taking about 30%, this due to cross matching deactived due to no runner
