Hi guys does anyone know how to create a rules file for a trailing stop loss in the football markets, I was backing the under 2.5 goals market tried to set a trailing stoploss but it went straight through me and lost most of my stake.Help would be greatly appreciated .Regards Bluesman137
Trailing stops won't work in football markets, once a goal is scored there will be a leap in price and market will reform well past any trailing stop.
If you create a simple automation file with a green-up rule armed 3 times with a re-arm time of 15 secs and the following two conditions
Unsuspended Time Condition
Is Greater
Than 65 secs
Historical relative odds condition
Selections back price
is greater now
than
Selections back price
60 secs ago plus 15 ticks
Depending on which type of football market your trading and which way the odds will go you may need to use the condition the other way
Historical relative odds condition
Selections back price
is less now
than
Selections back price
60 secs ago minus 15 ticks
