In Guardian can you use an excel sheet, following one stratergy, and an automation with a nominated selection, following another stratergy, at the same time ?
Or should you use 2 instances of BA and keep them separate ?
2 strategies at the same time ?

There are ways of doing it solely using automation or like me solely in Excel, or you can do a hybrid of the two. Depends what you are trying to do. All you need to be careful of, whichever method you choose, is that certain actions in one strategy may affect triggers in the other.
For example, strategy 1 is a Lay the Draw. Lay at 2.0, goal goes in Back at 4.0 or whatever.
Strategy 2 is scalping the draw selection and has a condition that you can only have one lay at a time (sensible, controls your risk).
Strategy 1 has put a lay in the market already so strategy 2 would never fire it's first lay bet. You know what I mean? You need to think about conflicting logic.
