I found the price action on Lofty in the 16:40 at Windsor bizarre, and then again on West Cork Wildway on the 17.05 at Tipperary - all sorts of big stakes smacking around north of 2.
The commentators made some sort of comment about West Cork Wildway changing code; does anyone know if there was there was a similar reason for the action at Windsor, or is someone engaging in a new and exciting kind of manipulation (or was it just normal variation and I'm imagining things)?
Thanks.

Out of interest, can you remember the result of the move? Was it a slight drift (late-on)?BeastofBrine wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 5:44 pmI found the price action on Lofty in the 16:40 at Windsor bizarre - all sorts of big stakes smacking around north of 2.
I must get to Newcastle on a winter viewing this year, never been to a race meeting & its my local track.
EDIT
Not too bad £20 with drink & food voucher inc

It drifted from below 2, then traded in a range above that, where the large stakes seemed to push it around. I'm not sure of the action in the final seconds before the market went in-play, as I had a phone call.ruthlessimon wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 6:43 pmOut of interest, can you remember the result of the move? Edit: At least I thought came from below 2 - looking at the trades I made, I may be misremembering. It's incredible how the memory of an event bleeds away in such a short space of time. I really need to get into the habit of recording my trading...

It bounced off evens. (actually bounced off 2.04 but 49% is near enough to call it evens)BeastofBrine wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 12:00 amIt drifted from below 2, then traded in a range above that, where the large stakes seemed to push it around.
