Hi,

I think you are right. At the moment I am concerned that I might forget something important but I am also confused because different people and sources of information will contradictive each other. For example, one YouTuber will say you need to research a match before it starts where as someone else will say you don't. Which one is the most profitable answer for me to follow on a long term basis?

It's a bit of an exciting experience as I am watching some matches and it's as if I can predict the future and it's quite an eerie, exciting and strange experience.

I was sure Wales would be Russia at Rugby and they did, last night I was sure Portugal would score and against Ukraine and they did, on Sunday I was sure a Brazilian team would win and the did. Just with these three events I could have made many £1,000's if I was trading at that level. Learning to look for value and what is actually happening seems to change everything about how you look at events

Also, you do need to put your own shoes on & I accept that we all had to be shown how to tie our laces, but you're still looking for your socks mate, we dont know where your socks are either, especially when you're telling us you have 15 pairs.
 Well put!

Derek, you keep doing this. I have asked you once before, if you have nothing useful or constructive to say please keep out. Whether it is negative or positive I am picking up information from people whereas you keep interfering with childish comments and silly emoji's.

I've already answered that on another thread. You're getting confused between fact and opinion. Everybody has their own opinion so it's futile taking advice from 20 different people. Two top traders can have opposite approaches to trading yet both can be highly successful. You would be far better off taking advice from one successful trader and realise that it's not the way to trade, but a successful method of trading.

You asked for a mentor. I could design and implement a state-of-the-art nuclear power station if I had the right set of mentors who told me exactly what to do, but what's the point? They could just as easily do the job without me!

You give intensive care to babies, very elderly people and people who suffered serious accidents - not people who want to trade and couldn't even be bothered to do a forum or Google search.

I've asked you to take notice of what people say instead of asking the same question again and again. Others have asked you to do a bit of work yourself instead of asking for information you can easily obtain yourself!

So I am looking to trade the half time score for a match tonight. On Smarkets I back all the scores but none of them have any lays. So are Smarkets but there are absolutely no Lay bets. I couldn't trade out if I wanted to. Are they just trading all the Backs against one another?
Bit late now, but it would probably have been a good idea at this point to start a new thread to avoid losing sight of the OP's question.

I am obtaining the information. I have watched many YouTube videos, a 1.5 webinar and around 1/3 of Barry Caan's book in a few days.

Look. Just please stop replying with silly comments and emoji's. It doesn't help and just detracts from any constructive discussion.

I find Barry's personality very accessible but I just don't like the style of trading he does or horse racing for that matter.

Are there anyother YouTubers apart from Paulo Rebelo, BetAngel and Cann Berry that are worth checking out?

From this point on, I'm done! I fear my opinion of Barry will smear the Forum, like a bird shit on a car windscreen.
