If a keep bet goes In-play and remains unmatched then a goal is scored, should that bet then be canceled during suspension or should it stay in the market at that price on market reform to be hoovered by the fastest finger?

Unless I'm mistaken doesnt it get kept just the once, then after subsequent suspensions it disappears? For instance if you put a keep bet order in pre match it will appear after the suspension when the match starts, but then wont reapper after a goal is scored?

Not according to the guy i just spoken to at Betfair.

I he said that "keep bets" will stay in the market regardless of whether the suspension is for kick off or a goal/red card etc.

I had keep bets in the Man Utd liverpool game on sunday and was shocked to see them remain in the reformed market after the goal and be hoovered up by the fastest backer. Wheres the logic in that?

Ive been on they're case today but they are adamant this is the way it works

The only thing i can do is wait for another match and test the market with small stakes to see if its true.

That's correct, if you're quick enough there's easy money to hoover up

If I layed Rangers tonight at 1.40 & pressed keep bets, the bet would not only remain when it went 'in play, but would also remain if Rangers took a 1-0 lead

It only disappers if I cancel it, or the bet gets taken, or of course if Rangers never take the lead

Looks like I'm mistaken then. Strange way of doing things though I shouldnt be surprised with some of the things that go on with racing and take sp bets when theres a late rule 4

Gents
I would probably argue that "hoovering up" isnt always straight forward...we discussed it in part in this thread (West Ham V Man U):-

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2936

The first goal went in, the market was put back in play and then the goal was disallowed..I captured it in this video :-

Got me out a hole that day...as you can see!

So, you could counter argue that it may be a strategy to place say £2 at 1000, one day the same as the above (or similar) will happen and you will be left with a very nice green?? Just a thought??

Sorry to hear that, hope it didnt occur due to listening to my inadequate assumptions of the rules, sorry if it did
