Laying Horses At Specific Prices Help

This has been bugging me for quite a while now and hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction.

I have a bot set to lay a horse in between certain prices but when BA places the lay from what i can gather is that it will basically work from the top of the market down for a horse within my range, which is fine but id rather it looked for the lowest price within my range.

For example say i wanted to lay between 3 - 20 and the horse which is at the top the favourite is now 20, the second fav is 5. It seems that BA will place the bet on the fav at 20 but id rather it backed the 2nd fav at 5

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I am currently using the fixed price condition for my odds range.

just set your bet to place in order of favouritism 1, where it says "applies to selection"

Thanks but the bot is set to lay any horse.
My issue is that the bot seems to lay any horse within my odds range from the top down.

If the 1st horse is 20 and the last horse is 5 the bot would lay the 20 instead of the 5.

Id like to lay the lowest price horse within my range irrespective of where they are listed on betfair

Remember that you can have multiple conditions within a single rule - and can therefore include and exclude according to favoritism.
