I was ejected from the lakeside in 1993 by the owner Bob Potter because I was wearing fancy dress and I quote "This is a serious international sporting event f**K off"

Later that evening I played pool with Eric Bristow and Sid Waddell in the players bar.

Rather bizarrely I played darts with Eric Bristow at Doncaster racecourse a few years back. A bit of a crossover there. Got 120 on the first throw and it was downhill all the way from there.

I was playing pool doubles with my boss eyed friend against Eric and his body guard. My mate missed an easy black for the game and Eric insisted we paid him the 1 pound we had bet him for the game.

John Virgo was there as well for some strange reason.

I played Sid as well and got him to write me an autograph with very fruity language.

The good thing about darts is that the stars now are probably just the same.
