Hi,
Lets say you lay at 3. Later when odds reach 100, you want to green up. But you know that probably there is no point of having profit on the current selection as most likely it won't win. with current Green Up, you will end up spending few pennies on that selection too so that you have equal profit on all selection.
Is there anyway manually or with automation you close the position with profit only on all other selections but 0 Profit on the current selection?
Currently what I do is that I look at the liability on that selection and place back bet to recover that amount but thats quite slow process and in-play its very difficult to do when you have more than 1 open position.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

ya if its just 1 lay bet and 1 back bet then its fine.. my problem is that I place multiple lay bets before placing final back bet to green up. I can use servant to place closing bet but problem is that I cannot find whats current liability on the selection so servant cannot help.
There has been a suggestion put forward by Peterle already for automation to reference the P/L's of a selection which is what would be needed to do when placing multiple bets or using a variety of staking methods.smarttraderr wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 2:21 pmya if its just 1 lay bet and 1 back bet then its fine.. my problem is that I place multiple lay bets before placing final back bet to green up. thats great. Ya I will have a look at the thread. Thanks
Here it is, it's not the easiest to find unless you know what your looking for so might be worth changing the titlesmarttraderr wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 2:39 pmthats great. Ya I will have a look at the thread. Thanks

thanks for sharing the post.. that pretty much what I am looking for, so that at runtime (automation) know what current liability we have in the market/selection so that we can take action accordingly.
This is another condition where it can be useful. Lets say I layed at 5. current price is 4.5 and price movement are rapidly fluctuating between 3 and 6 (happens near end of the race). Rather then closing at random price, I want to close the position at 5 so that it green up with 0 profit. at this time switching between one click and ladder can be time consuming (every second counts) I just want to tell the servant to close the position with 0 profit so that it capture the price I am looking for. knowing current liability on the selection will allow us to take appropriate position I guess.
Long description but hopefully I got my point across.
Thanks again
