I have started to look at dogs in Uk and plenty of info for example class at crayford based on a 10 quid bet to win the following are this years results (see attachment)
I have 2 questions the results are based on win but i want to do a auto lay what is average different between back and lay price as results are on back price so skewed and laying would obviously reduce the figures (not sure if anyone could answer this maybe different every race but i persume about 2 ticks) would that be about right (also these are sp prices not betfair so that could also make a big difference)
and second how would i select by certain classes ie A10 , A5 , A7 and s5 without having to manually go through the racecard and select them
any help appreciated
uk dogs how do i select class
also while im at it is there a way of doing lay by trainer cant see it any where see results by trainer based on 10 quid bet it might be worth laying certain trainers see attachment

The betfair API sends details of the race class, so if that gets sent to excel via BA it's easy enough to strip out. As for trainers I think that meta data is ony available for horse racing not the dogs.
You'll find that most bookies dog overrounds are in the region 130%+ so basing anything on bookie SP is a bit pointless. All the previous dog data and BSP's is available to download from the betfair data site for free so I'd check your system works with betfair odds before sticking money into the market.
