Hi all,

I have been researching in the forum and youtube channel but don't seem to get find an answer for this.

:?: Is it possible to automate betting based on a match live result? To give an example of a NBA match, setting something like: if the Lakers are trailing by 20 against the Bulls at the end of the first quarter, back Lakers to win at market price :?:

If you use excel it's easy enough to scrape websites for data and BA can bet from excel so no reason why you shouldn't be able to as long as you have a reliable feed.

My I see short code snippet to see how easy is to get live score for football or basketball? From which sites you take such score?

You're a software vendor/coder who sells his own trading software Stefan, I'm sure you don't need me to help you set up a web query or write a bit of VBA to webscrape. Try google if it's beyond you, plenty of examples out there that could explain it to you better than me.

So what you claim is not true, as you said it is easy. What I asked was to present proof, not just for me but to others who asks.

I think you mistakes me, Stefan is common name.

Guess I must have mistaken you for the Stefan Belo who runs belosoft and bf explorer, easy mistake to make considering the name and the fact code references you've posted appear on his site too ;)

So all Stefan's with surname starting on Belo are guilty to be StefanBelo running belosoft, well that is really big news. Just for fun google Belo surname and how many people have it.

Thankfully you do not suffer putin-fobia otherwise I would be Russian spy, right?

Yes, I am coder, but no such genius like you seems to be therefore I asked you how you do it, and from which web site/api you have got basketball live score, because you said it is easy, instead I have got this accusation.

Yes, I use different apps as well, whatever gives me edge or advantage.

Yes, I read and post here that is clear as well, as I read many forums, because I like trading on betfair and looking for new ideas for my trading.

Internet is free space and anyone can use whatever nicknames likes, and post whatever want, or is it illegal in your country? In my country it is for now legal.

Even this forum can be read without registering.

Probably best not to pretend you are somebody else, as that makes it look even worse.

Didn't really need to be Miss Marple to crack this one, especially when you reference BA on your own site then post in the same topic and code on here on the same day. The other giveaway was asking for something in exchange.

We've all been here long enough to see plenty of people turn up touting for business, Jim, usually they're a bit more subtle and a least use a different name rather than trying to front it out as a coincidence.

This is so highly likely British.

So what you say is that on the world there is only one StefanBelo registered username and this StefanBelo must be from belosoft.

Congratulation to your British judgment, or better to say paranoia, just google how many Peter Webb's are in the world. It is quite common that there is many people using the same name and the same surname, and they are not even relatives.

As I said I am coder as well, but not so good, so I asked just simple question:

"May I see short code snippet to see how easy is to get live score for football or basketball?"

I asked because spreadbetting said:

"If you use excel it's easy enough to scrape websites for data and BA can bet from excel so no reason why you shouldn't be able to as long as you have a reliable feed."

If it is easy enough, then he could just show it, or put link to web site where it is easy to scrape such data. If someone uses word easy, it means it is really easy, so it is just question of couple minutes work, right?

No one actually answered this question, nor to me nor to joaoparker.

So be constructive and helpful and answer this question for me and for joaoparker.

Have nothing constructive to add and not sure how appropriate this is, but for some reason I've read that whole post with a thick Russian accent :D
