In-play Automation | Saturday !!!

I have been running a live in-play automation rule in the UK, EIRE Horse Racing Markets for some time now. BUT, have voided Saturday's as the returns were minimal, even, or small deficit, ALWAYS.

I put the same rule in today in simulation mode trading ten markets. Close of business deficit -5.34 !!!

I'm just curious has anybody else had, or is having similar experiences. What is the reason.

You give very little detail about what your strategy/rule is.
Does your automation rule TRADE/LAY/BACK ?

I've never ventured into in-play but I would assume there is less value in running on saturdays due to more people court siding and more entrants into the markets? Have you tried testing on the lower grade races on saturdays?
